Finest German Shepherds

Thinking about rescuing one of these dogs to add to the pack.

aawwwwwww...

Tip of the Spear video below--    "SEAL Team Six, the elite military operatives who killed Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan on Sunday night, were accompanied by one canine companion"
Here is the story and video:

((although, why publicize this so much? their secrecy is their strength. a.) politics))
what caught my interest was that in the beginning, during the intense training for these Best Dogs
--if they broke a tooth it was replaced with TITANIUM.
Titaniam Canines, what a Rock band.

they also have earbuds for remote commands.
retirement plans. swimming pools. movie stars

They can bite through kevlar! story stated:
"The dogs are a fighting force on four legs that are able to parachute into action, rappel into combat and swim into a skirmish. They are outfitted with protective body armor and a powerful bite. According to the U.S. Air Force, the bite from a German shepherd, one of the breeds used by the military, has a force between 400 and 700 pounds..."

..."Last year, at a cost of more than $20,000 per unit, the SEALs bought four tactical vests for their dogs, according to The New York Times. The vests are reported to have infrared and night-vision cameras that allow handlers to use a monitor from up to 1,000 yards away to see what the dog sees. The handler is also able to communicate with the dog through a speaker on the vest. ..."

Here's the thing: now it seems
the local urban dogs in country are getting this gear however they can,

off the black market, vests and doggles,   to look "combat."  My dog can rock that look.

Love of a Dog: The Postal Service, Abbey and God

beautiful story sent to me today:
We don't know who replied, but there is a beautiful soul working in the dead letter department who understands LOVE...

Our 14-year-old dog Abbey died last month.

The day after she passed away my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was
crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.

She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to
heaven, God would recognize her.

I told her that I thought that we could, so she dictated these words:

Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog?
Abbey died yesterday and is with you in heaven.
I miss her very much.

I 'm happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.
I hope you will play with her.
She likes to swim and play with balls.

I am sending a picture of her so when you see her you will know that she is my dog.

I really miss her.
Love,
Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey & Meredith,
addressed it to God/Heaven.

We put our return address on it.

Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she
said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven.
That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office.

A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet.
I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch
addressed, 'To Meredith' in an unfamiliar hand.

Meredith opened it.
Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.'

Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God
in its opened envelope.

On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:
Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help and I
recognized her right away.

Abbey isn't sick anymore.
Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart.

Abbey loved being your dog.

Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to
keep your picture in so I'm sending it back to you in this little book for
you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you
write it and sending it to me.

What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.

I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.

By the way, I'm easy to find.
I am wherever there is love.

Love,
God

according to snopes, it is true and they have the real names of eveyone, etc. but the picture was added to the email. ( it is not her)   http://www.snopes.com/glurge/abbey.asp
and the girl was actually not surprised in any way at the reply, but her 6 year old brother was quite impressed.

Do You LOVE turkey?

(REDUX)

I just watched a PBS Nature Special from a guy (Joe Hutto) who is a nature/animal buff, about Wild Turkeys, and it was excellent, beautifully filmed, and mind-expanding.
For thanksgiving, give it a watch:

Wild turkey fact sheet:
HERE

Class: Aves

Order: Galliformes Family: Phasianidae
Subfamily: Meleagridinae  Genus: Meleagris
Species: Meleagris gallopavo
Subspecies: There are five subspecies of North American wild turkey: Eastern, Osceola, Rio Grande, Merriam’s, and Gould’s.

When I lived down south, the wild turkeys saw you a mile or two away; they did not let you see them. Here, I try hard not to hit them with my truck. (with complete success so far...)

The 1961 Speech That Got JFK Killed?
28/07/2010 von beim Honigmann zu lesen  by Katherine Smith

On the anniversary of JFK’s birthday, an edited video of the April 27, 1961 speech “that got John F. Kennedy Killed” was making its way around  the Internet [1]:

“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence–on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system that has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, and no secret is revealed.” [1]

It was hard to miss the veiled reference to The Illuminati (House of Rothschild), Bilderbergers, CFR and the other secret societies that rule the world from behind the scenes.

“Things do not happen. Things are made to happen” JFK

[Excerpt from "Bones" in the Money Pit about The Powers That Be (TPTB)]

Our consumer society didn’t just happen; it was planned. Not in 1910, or 1954, but in the year 1832, the year William Huntington Russell and fellow classmate Alphonso Taft founded the Skull and Bones society at Yale University, a branch of the Bavarian Illuminati...."

Sentence for Gang Rape? Cut some grass...

The gang rape of a 16-year-old Kenyan schoolgirl — and the lack of punishment given to the alleged rapists — has sparked outrage in the country and beyond.

The attack was so violent it left the girl in a wheelchair with a severe back injury.
She identified some of her attackers, who police apprehended — only to let go after they were ordered to cut the lawn at the police station.

Several hundred marchers stopped traffic on Nairobi's Central Kenyatta Street on Thursday morning, carrying cardboard boxes representing the more than 1.2 million online signatures on a petition called "Justice for Liz." Liz is a pseudonym for the victim, who lives in Busia County.
Ngozi Nwosu, an activist from Nigeria joining the march, says she was struck by how many Kenyan men were marching.
"There are men joining women to speak against rape," she says. "In Nigeria, women are most likely [to] stand alone. Kenya is doing well in terms of standing up against injustice."

"...She was beaten, gang raped and dumped in a pit latrine. But when she identified three of her attackers to the police, their only punishment was to cut grass around the police station.

That, says Abdulmelik, "emboldens others to also rape."

The case lay idle for months. Liz's mother had to lease the family farm to afford the hospital. Then a newspaper reporter picked up the story; the activism that followed showcased a Kenya that is increasingly wired and middle class. Kenyans used Twitter and Facebook to bring media attention to the case. Ordinary Kenyans donated thousands of dollars through mobile money-transfer campaigns to pay for Liz's care.

Doctors say Liz will be able to walk again next month, thanks to back surgery. That's not enough, though, says Saida Ali, executive director of the Kenya-based Coalition on Violence Against Women..."
