As i watched this story on the newshour tonight, i was moved especially
when listening to those who knew her
describe her.
Open, living, transparent? authentic. connected...

Her photos are wonderful i was inspired

In this Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002 file photo made by Associated Press photographer Anja Niedringhaus, hundreds of U.S. Marines gather at Camp Commando in the Kuwait desert during a Christmas eve visit by Santa Claus.

and at the end

i thought

there are so many people are shot and killed in afghanistan
in congo, in chicago]

that,
if we heard the beloved of each of those
weep their praises and tell us of the finest parts of the lost soul,
perhaps we would walk around shell-shocked like the families in our midst
