An amazing woman sprinting in the Olympics from Jamaica, known as the fastest woman in the world-- told her story. She told how difficult it is for young girls in Jamaica to "make it OK" as the men "don't give them a chance"--they tend to get them pregnant by age 12- 14.
She almost said "rape" but one could see she tried to keep it light for the interview with NBC. She mentioned that a man, when she herself turned 12 years old, came up to her to tell her it was time for her to start "----" [i have to re watch the story] to figure out the word-- but basically, to start having children. She told her mother. She related with glee that her mother took a huge knife, went to the man, and told him if he touched her daughter she would chop him up.
She is now the Fastest Woman in the World...
