It's called Human Trafficking.
Today the Freedom Alliance (K-State) is hosting a RUN in manhattan city park. I am here with my table full of goodies, and baddies: all sorts of materials that deal with the insane state in the world today where women and children and men too are trafficked: bought and sold, enslaved into sexual torture and more.

The day is crisp, a perfect fall morning.
First day of autumn.
The runners are all being given bananas and water.

Whether you are aware or not, there is a global-level crisis of human slavery.

It looks like the majority of the runners today are young folk. at least 70 or 80 are around the18- 20-year-old mark.
The students who put this together are running on adrenaline today, not having slept last night.
They are such wonderful "kids"-- focused on helping others and unable to get the horror of this atrocity--ongoing atrocity-- out of their heads.

I am going to tidy up my display and have a little lay in the sunshine.
