Tremble
Tremble, you who thirst for power.
Tremble, you who live for acclaim.
Tremble, when you find no comfort in your wealth and fame.
Blessed those whose hearts are gentle.
Blessed those whose spirits are strong.
Blessed those who choose to bring forth
right where there is wrong.
Tremble, you who build up riches.
Tremble, you with opulent lives.
Tremble, when you meet the poor and see Christ in their eyes.
Tremble, you who live for acclaim.
Tremble, when you find no comfort in your wealth and fame.
Blessed those whose spirits are strong.
Blessed those who choose to bring forth
right where there is wrong.
Tremble, you who build up riches.
Tremble, you with opulent lives.
Tremble, when you meet the poor and see Christ in their eyes.

The day will come when men will recognize woman as his peer,
not only at the fireside, but in councils of the nation. Then, and not until
then, will there be the perfect comradeship, the ideal union between the sexes
that shall result in the highest development of the race. -- Susan Brownell Anthony 1820-1906

In religion and politics people's beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing. samuel clemens- Autobiography of Mark Twain
The bosom of America is open to receive not only the Opulent

If we choose only to expose ourselves to opinions and viewpoints that are in
line to our own, we become more polarized, more set in our own ways. It will
only reinforce and deepen the political divides in our country. But if we choose
to actively seek out information that challenges our assumptions and beliefs,
perhaps we can begin to understand where the people who disagree with us are
coming from. --Barack Obama, University of Michigan Commencement, 2010

The Transformation of James Holmes pt. 2 Update: Staged
As you ponder the sad, horrible events surrounding the massacre at the Batman movie, do you wonder how a person might have moved into what appears to be psychosis?
THIS SITE (click here) show pics and discusses evidence such issues as
-more than one person involved? and how there are bloody footprints passing his car outside the theatre, the armoured clothes shed at a street side, while he was found sitting in the car? There is more than enough factual info her to inspire those who are not buying the official news stories. Was he drugged? Hypnotised? Set Up? Mind Kontrolled?]]

Today, he asked a jail worker if he knew how the movie ended. Story HERE -- excerpt:
"...“Did you see the movie?” a creepy-sounding Holmes asked a stunned jail worker during a bizarre exchange Tuesday. “How does it end?” Holmes, his eyes glazed and his voice flat, repeated the question when the worker ignored him, according to another jail employee who witnessed the incident in the infirmary.
Holmes, a 24-year-old ex-honor student, “was trying to look like he was sincerely curious,” the witness recounted to the Daily News. “Like he had no idea why there was anything wrong with what he was saying. But this post will look a bit at the idea that this intelligent guy [supposedly who's a descendant of one who arrived in America on the Mayflower] --who started a PhD program last fall as a top-notch prospect--flunked a test June 7th and decompensated into violent, psychotic behavior within a couple months.
I spent some time in Washington DC working with adults who suffered from schizophrenia and psychosis. Generally these mental disorders have an onset between the teen years and the early twenties.
I must say, perhaps because i lived as the counselor in an apartment building with 40 individuals who lived with serious mental disorders, that i do not harbour fear or anger directed at individuals who commit these crimes while suffering a psycotic state. There is enough fear and anger to spread around to those who deliberately, selfishly act on violent wishes.
OK break time i will return to this post and add some thoughts about severe mental illness.
