TV's Filthy Family Guy: Depraved and Revolting Attack on the Person of the most Humble and Holy Jesus Christ

(Vile and pornographic are only words; the feelings of shame and sorrow for my species is still with me.)
Taking a spin around the network tv dial Sunday night, i heard something almost never uttered on television (unless someone is swearing): the most beautiful name of Jesus.

Jesus, who is mildness and love itself.

Jesus Christ, whose reputation is of perfect justice and forgiveness, of purity and holiness--whose one expression of anger was toward those money-changers desecrating a holy space...

The perverted, violent, and filthy television show called Family Guy spent a half hour making every effort to please demons and desecrate the identity of Christ.

I will not describe the disordered and smutty premise of the show. Some places do describe episodes.

I simply want to say, some things cry to heaven for justice.
The scales are filling.

I have moved on from tv; i know the media pushes a luciferian agenda. I don't watch much anymore.
Yet--
Never have i seen such a dishonorable half hour.

Our Very Own Human Trafficking - Kristen's Story.

                          (For Grown-ups please.)

I am sad to post this nightmarish story. This is here and now, my friends. I can vouch for the truthfulness of this narrative. K was a freshman three years ago.

K’s Story
written by K three years after the crime.

I was sold by a friend to a group of army soldiers (6-7 guys).
No Justice was ever done.
Coming from a loving, conservative, protective family, this came as a complete shock and completely changed my life. I almost let it consume me: lashing out at everyone, attitude changes, grades dropped, family and friend drama. Before, I was a very bubbly, kind, and generous person who was driven by the ability to make anyone laugh. I was popular in band and in the sorority I was a member of.
Instead of letting my experience ruin my life, I have decided to use my story as therapy for me and to help someone else who may have gone through this.
*Warning* - This story might be upsetting to some people and might trigger a past memory of a traumatic event.
August 2006
5:30 p.m. -
My senior friend, A. in Marching Band asked me what I was doing that night. Since my best friend had plans that night with her boyfriend, I made plans with A. to go to a party in Manhattan. I had never been to a party before and it sounded like fun.
7:00 p.m. -
I was in the final stages of being ready to go out for a night on the town. My aunt came over to borrow some clothes/shoes so she could go have fun with her friends. She told me to be careful. I had a little bit of a worried/nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach (like something wasn't right) but I set those feelings aside because I wanted to be liked, especially by an upperclassman.
7:30 p.m. -
A. came over to pick me up and after telling me to change into a more "sexy" shirt, we were ready to hit the road. I still had that feeling, only it was growing into a sick feeling. She made sure that I had my driver's license (which I thought was weird, especially when I wasn't driving or going to a bar.) We went to the liquor store to pick some stuff up, got her alcohol, and left.

7:45 p.m. -
We were on Ft. Riley Boulevard headed out of Manhattan. I asked her where we were going because she told me that we were attending a party hosted by some of her girl friends in Manhattan. But there we were on the way to the army base? She explained to me that we were going to pick up some of her friends first because they didn't have cars.

8:00 p.m. -
We arrived at the army base and were checked in as guests. My friend was on the phone with her friends trying to get directions to the place we were meeting them at. She told me that they were girls and I could not hear them on the phone because I was on the phone with my own boyfriend. Then she started saying some stuff under her breath and acting nervous. It was like she was reassuring the person on the phone. We then arrived at a gas station and pulled up next to a guy in a red car.
8:15 p.m. -
We get out and meet the GUY in the red CAR. Remember, she told me that we were meeting girls and they didn't have cars. There was another guy in the passenger seat in the car and he got out and we sat there and talked for a little more than an hour. They seemed VERY interested in me and were obviously checking me out even after I told them I had a boyfriend. Then, A. told me to go sit in the car and those three talked for a couple more minutes. They were acting weird and awkward and then one guy asked if we could stop at a bar before heading back to Manhattan. We were off in HIS CAR.
9:30 p.m. -
We arrive at Club Rose in Junction City. The security officer didn't even ask to see my I.D. and I knew that I didn't look 18, which was the age limit. My friend asked if I wanted a drink and I figured that if she was getting it and that if it didn't matter, I would take her up on the offer. I sat at the table with the guys and my friend went to get the drinks. She took a little longer than expected and was talking a lot to the bartender. Finally she arrived with our drinks. Mine was "Sex on the Beach." That was the only thing I had to drink.
9:50 p.m. -
I started feeling woozy, like I had drank about 6 of my drinks. I was extremely drunk and I felt a little sick. My body wanted to pass out and puke everywhere but my mind was racing. Then I passed out.

? – I woke up in a cab and it was a very insane experience. It was like I was looking through a class of water or something. Everything was very blurry and kind of trippy. I just kept hearing bits and pieces of men’s voices. Then I blacked out again.

Sometime after – It was like waking up in Star Trek. There was one focus point and it was like all of the light around the focus point was blurred. I saw faces I didn’t know. I heard unfamiliar voices. There were sooo many of them. I couldn’t feel anything. I just watched them. I knew what they were doing but I couldn’t say anything or do anything about it.

The next morning….about 7:30 a.m. – I woke up feeling HOOOOORRIBLE. Everything hurt. The main things that I was worried about were the facts that both my butt and my vagina hurt sooo bad. I could not for the life of me remember what happened the night before. I was completely naked and I was frantically running around the room looking for my clothes, which were thrown everywhere (weird). There were 5 guys who either didn’t have clothes on, or just underwear, who were sprawled out around the room. It kind of looked like a hotel room and I had NO idea where we were. I found my friend in the other bed and demanded that she take me home. I finally found all of my clothes, put them on, and again demanded that my friend take me home. She definitely was taking her time and the more time she took, I remember almost having a heart attack because I was so scared and I wanted to go home and be with my parents where I knew I was safe. I love my parents but I have never been one to completely embrace them with love so it was weird that all I wanted was for my daddy to hold me. I was scared.

20 minutes later – My “friend” finally got herself together. She was ready to leave. And apparently so had all of the guys that were there. They kept making inappropriate comments about how “good” I was. They were all looking at me like I was a piece of meat. I pleaded with my friend because I was having a panic attack. I started to leave the room and I looked back. One of the guys that we met at the gas station on the army base handed my friend a large wad of money. He thanked her and told her it was worth it. ?????????????????????? I heard a train running through my head. I went numb. Why was this guy paying her money?

On the Way Home – I tried to talk to her about it. I kept shaking. I didn’t even know where to begin. She basically admitted to me what happened. She told me everything. I was so betrayed. The worst part was that I had little time to wash all of the filth off of me and I had to go straight to lunch with my family.

At lunch – I wanted to tell them. It took everything I had not to break down and cry. I was planning on telling them. When I got to the restaurant, I saw how happy they were to see me, and I froze up and brought my best happy act.

The justice period – I made a huge mistake and took a shower. I didn’t know that this kind of thing actually happens quite often and that I could do something about it. I had never been prepped on what to do when raped. I don’t think anyone should ever have to be. I got rid of pretty much all of the evidence. I kept my clothes. My best friend and I went to the Junction City Police Department since the crime happened in J.C. They laughed at me. They told me that if I wanted them to talk to my ex-friend, I would have to contact her myself and ask her to talk to the police. I gave them my story and left. Really the only help I got at all was with the K-State Advocate and all of the support from my family and friends when I came out from them.

One thing I have learned is that when something happens to you, you might not always have law enforcement to fix the problems for you. You have to deal with it yourself. I almost let it consume me. Over the next couple of years, I lashed out at my friends and family, I let drama over-run my life, my grades dropped, and eventually I got kicked out of school. Luckily, I was able to prove that I had serious issues and that was the reason I got kicked out so they reinstated me and gave me that extra chance. At that point, I realized that I had to use my anger from this experience to help others. Right after this happened, I changed my major because I couldn’t deal with people anymore. I wanted to arrest assholes that rape people. After I got kicked out of school, it was like a huge kick in the ass. I decided that instead of keeping my story inside, I would use it to build a career. I want to help girls who have been through the betrayal of having a friend sell you to someone for sex. I am using my story to help others and that’s what has pushed me to be the person I am today. I still cry and I still get that sickening feeling in my stomach from filth I cannot wash off, but in the end, I am not ashamed because my horrible, traumatic experience has made me into the person I am today.

Forced to Cheer for Your Rapist: Wendy Murphy says Make Some Noise.

"Watts described the cheer they wanted her to say... "It went something like this: 'Two, four, six-eight-10, come on [Name] put it in.' Think about that. How does a school official make a rape victim say something like that to a man who did something so horrible?"

Holy Moley. "Cheer Her Rapist? Let's Make Noise Over This"

http://www.womensenews.org/story/athleticssports/110511/cheer-her-rapist-lets-make-noise-over

By Wendy Murphy  Thursday, May 12, 2011
"A Texas teen was expelled from her cheerleading squad for refusing to cheer for a guy accused of raping her. The courts have let her down, so about a dozen of us who are former NFL cheerleaders are standing up. We want to hear some noise about this.

(WOMENSENEWS)--On May 2 the United States Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal of a Texas high school cheerleader who was kicked off her squad for refusing to cheer for a basketball player accused of raping her weeks earlier.

About a dozen of us former NFL cheerleaders, standing on the sidelines, were stunned. Then we decided to do what we can to speak up for Hillaire, who wants her real first name to be used.

"There's always been this idea that if you're a cheerleader, you're just there to decorate the sidelines for the benefit of male players and fans," said Cheryl Duddy Schoenfeld, who cheered for the NFL for two years in the 1970s. "Well we've got news for anyone who believes in such nonsense. We are rallying behind this girl and her family and we are committed to doing what we can to make sure this never happens again--to any girl. If the school officials and courts won't support her, we will. We are calling on all cheerleaders--NFL, college and high school, past and present--to step up and join us in this effort."

The victim's family has been ordered to pay $45,000 in costs to reimburse the school for having to defend against the lawsuit.

"Making the victim's parents pay tens of thousands of dollars because they tried to protect their child is like sending a message to all cheerleaders that they had better stay quiet about things like sexual assault and dating violence," said Bonnie Gardner-Drumm, an NFL cheerleader for five years in the early 1980s.

She calls the incident an outrage. "How hard would it have been for school officials to just let her stay silent? Ideally they should have forbidden the guy to play sports, but insisting that a young woman literally cheer for a man who abused her is its own form of abuse."

The victim's lawyer, Larry Watts, said he was disappointed with the court's response, but that it felt "really good" to learn that a group of NFL cheerleaders had stepped forward to support the victim.

"I've been frustrated and shocked that no women's or victims' groups or even cheerleaders' organizations have spoken out in support of Hillaire. I just don't get it," he said. "This is a brave young woman. It's great that professional cheerleaders are now supporting her. They don't even know Hillaire but they know what she's going through and what it took for her to do what she did."

Hillaire and her parents filed the lawsuit against the high school after school officials in Silsbee, Texas, told Hillaire she had no choice but to cheer for the man who attacked her.
She was willing to cheer for the team, but when her assailant was at the free-throw line, and the squad was cheering for him in particular, she stepped back from the others and crossed her arms in defiance.

Watts described the cheer they wanted her to say. He said, "It went something like this: 'Two, four, six-eight-10, come on [player] put it in.' Think about that. How does a school official make a rape victim say something like that to a man who did something so horrible?"

The accused was charged with rape and pleaded guilty to assault in 2010, but while the matter was still being resolved he continued to play sports.

In February 2009, when the victim refused to cheer for him, she was sent home by school officials and later dismissed from the squad for the remainder of her high school career. The accused student continued to enjoy the cheers and adulation of other students, parents and school officials.

"People dismiss the value of cheerleaders as unimportant compared to the guys," said Schoenfeld. "It took a lot of guts for this young woman to take a stand the way she did. She didn't deserve to be punished for that. It's unbelievable in this day and age that school officials could be so backward thinking about an issue as important as violence against women and girls."

In their lawsuit against the school district, Hillaire and her family argued that a victim has a constitutionally-protected First Amendment right to express herself by refusing to cheer for a student accused of rape.
The federal court disagreed and ruled the teen had no free speech rights because cheerleaders act as agents of the school--"mouthpieces" is the word the court used--not as an individual students.

The NFL cheerleaders, offended by the court's characterization of them as mere "mouthpieces," are putting their megaphones to their mouths to speak out.

I did, when I wrote that Hillaire should have sued under Title IX, instead of the First Amendment, on the grounds that requiring a cheerleader to cheer for her rapist is a form of sexual harassment and thus an act of gender discrimination.

Another former NFL cheerleader, Jeanne Ball, is upset to hear that there has been so little public support for Hillaire.

"Fortunately, she seems to have strong family support," Ball said.

Attorney Watts says Hillaire regrets nothing and is proud of herself for refusing to cheer and for bringing the lawsuit.
"It was the least she could do to show everyone how she felt not only about being raped, but also about being so disrespected by school officials," he said.

Former cheerleader Schoenfeld could not agree more.
"We don't want cheerleaders--or any women--to stay quiet about such things," she said. "Many of us have daughters now--and sons--and we want them to have healthy relationships. There's nothing healthy about rape and there's certainly nothing healthy about making a young woman cheer for her abuser."

The school's lawyer did not return a call seeking comments.

Jameis Winston Rape Case: What happened that night? What does it mean when the Attorney's Office does NOT take a case? Why would a victim be warned she will be Raked Over the Coals?

A new documentary, The Hunting Ground, is exploring the issue of rape on college campuses.
The woman whose accusations against Jameis Winston were met with anger and bullying speaks out in this movie, released next week.

The Effects of Acquaintance Rape on a typical person HERE
Not Believing Crime Victims HERE
and HERE
We must start open examination of the way the legal system
deals with this crime..
Look at the actual police reports in the Ben Roethlisberger case

The Jameis Winston Rape case began in December a year ago when a woman, a student at the Tallahassee university, reported she had been sexually assaulted.

(She did not know who or where.) A month later she ID'd Winston.
The woman's family has said a detective warned her attorney that Tallahassee is a "big football town" and her life could be miserable if she pursued the case.
Tallahassee Police Department Interim Chief Tom Coe told reporters this week that the accuser "broke off contact" with them in February and didn't want to go forward with the case.

The story became public when some media outlets put in public records requests for the alleged victim's complaint. Tallahassee police have released a heavily redacted incident report documenting a sexual assault allegation in early December 2012.
The family of the woman has blasted the police investigation.

According to ESPN,  (see article below) there will be no charges filed against Football player Jameis Winston.
The attorney's office stated that "We have a duty as prosecutors to determine if each case has a reasonable likelihood of conviction," Meggs said. "After reviewing the facts in this case, we do not feel that we can reach those burdens."

This standard is true for all cases. Even when many people connected to a case think someone is guilty (like certain murders connected with organized crime for example), if the state does not feel they can make the case and have a pretty good shot at conviction, they do not take the case forward. Many times police and attorneys feel sure the crime was committed by the accused. But being overworked, overbooked and needing to focus on winnable cases, they decline to take the case.
THE ONLY THING not taking a case means for sure generally, is that there is not overwhelming evidence.

remember: Rape cases rarely have overwhelming evidence, particularly when acquaintances are involved. This is because the evidence of the crime is so similar to behavior that is not a crime-- the only difference is "consent"
-
(Even "stranger" rape cases are defended by stating that the victim was nice to the accused.)

After the State Attorney Willie Meggs made the statement above, the lawyer for the accused immediately tries to fool people by suggesting that since they could not go forward with charges, his client has been found innocent. The wording is pure lawyerese. see snip below

Video here: http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/10082441/jameis-winston-not-charged-sexual-assault-investigation

If we assume that no one knows if a rape occurred in this case or not, except the two parties involved, this development does not help us in knowing. The reason: many rapes are not prosecuted.

Please consider this scenario:
A woman has a couple drinks at a party. She chats with a guy, and he tries to kiss her while they are on the dance floor. She declines, and says she is not interested. They continue drinking and moving about the party. She either drinks too much (or is drugged, which state attorney's offices say is quite common now days) and feels sick, goes to a quiet room to lie down. She wakes up with the guy's penis inside her, he ejaculates as she tries to move away, and he leaves.

Where is the evidence of rape?

Please tell me, WHERE is the evidence of rape?

Most typically: The evidence will be her word. That's all she will have.
Here is one account of the night of the event:

The woman who claims she was raped by Florida State QB Jameis Winston says they were boozing at a local bar before the incident ... and she had 5 or 6 shots, this according to police documents.

According to a search warrant affidavit, the woman told cops she "began to feel the effects of the drinks" and was then whisked to a nearby apartment, where she was raped.

According to the affidavit, “[the accuser] then remembers entering an apartment on the ground floor.  She remembers the male taking off her clothes then engaging in penile/vaginal sex with her as she told him to stop and tried to fight him off.”

Cops said in the affidavit ... at some point during the incident, another black male with dreadlocks came into the room and told the man to stop ... at which point he took the accuser into a nearby bathroom where he "completed the act."

Cops say the woman contacted police within an hour of the alleged rape -- but claim the accuser was so drunk at the time, she was "unable to tell a detective where the incident occurred."

She had only "hazy recollections of details after that," the cops said.

It wasn't until roughly 5 weeks after the incident that the woman first identified Winston as her attacker.

The statement released to the Times by Patricia Carroll, the unnamed alleged victim's family attorney, accuses the Tallahassee Police Department of failure to fully follow up on the initial rape complaint; prematurely and unilaterally alerting Winston's attorney and Florida State campus police to the situation; and painting a foreboding picture of the potential fallout from accusing a Seminoles football player of sexual assault.
"We requested assistance from an attorney friend to interact with law enforcement on the victim's behalf," the statement said. "When the attorney contacted Detective [Scott] Angulo immediately after Winston was identified, Detective Angulo told the attorney that Tallahassee was a big football town and the victim needs to think long and hard before proceeding against him because she will be raked over the coals and her life will be made miserable."  article

snip:

Meggs and his office had been investigating the case for the past three weeks, and they interviewed the accuser about two weeks ago. Last month, ESPN.com reported that DNA found in the woman's underwear matched Winston's. His attorney, Tim Jansen of Tallahassee, said Winston had consensual sex with the woman. But the woman's attorney, Patricia Carroll of Tampa, Fla., said Winston raped her 19-year-old client, who withdrew from classes after the allegations resurfaced in media reports last month.
"We have a duty as prosecutors to determine if each case has a reasonable likelihood of conviction," Meggs said. "After reviewing the facts in this case, we do not feel that we can reach those burdens."
While the case could be reopened if new evidence is found, Meggs indicated that he "had no earthly idea what that would be."
Carroll released a statement shortly after Meggs spoke.
"The victim and her family appreciate the state attorney's efforts in attempting to conduct a proper investigation after an inordinate delay by the Tallahassee Police Department," the statement said. "The victim in this case had the courage to immediately report her rape to the police and she relied upon them to seek justice. The victim has grave concerns that her experience, as it unfolded in the public eye and through social media, will discourage other victims of rape from coming forward and reporting."
After hearing Meggs' decision, Jansen said of his client: "He's absolutely innocent, and I'm glad and pleased that Willie did a full investigation and found the same thing we did. There's no evidence. He could not go forward with any charges."

Giants fan beaten to near death; Violence in the culture. Dodgers/San Francisco statement released

A sports fan beaten for his alliance and apparel? /sports/2011/04/05/san-francisco-giants-fan-beaten-dodger-game-brain-damage/  : excerpt:

According doctors, Bryan Stow is showing signs of brain damage and remains in critical condition."

Bryan Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic and father of two from Santa Cruz, is showing signs of brain damage and remains in critical condition after the beating. He suffered a severe skull fracture and bad bruising to his brain’s frontal lobes, said neurosurgeon Dr. Gabriel Zada.&nbsp Stow was in a parking lot heading to a taxi stand after the Dodgers' 2-1 victory over the Giants on March 31 when two shaven-headed young men in Dodgers clothing began taunting and swearing at him and two other fans, who were all wearing Giants gear, police said. ...Stow was punched in the back of the head. He fell down, bashing his head on the pavement, and was kicked before the attackers ran; They fled in a four-door sedan driven by a woman who had a boy with her, police said....The suspects are described as between 18 and 25 years old, according to LAPD Detective Percy Morris. Composite sketches released by police show they both had shaved heads and thin mustaches. One suspect had a small goatee and the second had numerous tattoos on his neck...

There is this individual anger and inner violence
There is this violence of control and power in relationships
This story makes me ponder the horrifying lack of love
lack of community
more about this later
The widening spiral of infection, violence like a virus, selfish, without empathy

A statement was read at the Giants - Dodgers game: HERE: and HERE

UPDATE: Description of the encounter in the parking lot: HERE at USA todays Daily Pitch
excerpt:
"...Corey Maciel also told 710 ESPN Radio in Los Angeles that Stow was blindsided during the attack and was "unconscious before he ever hit the ground."
Stow remains in a medically induced coma after having surgery on his skull to take pressure off his brain.
Here is Maciel's radio account of what happened to Stow, according to ESPN Los Angeles:

"We were walking out and the mood definitely changed from intimidating to hostile once we got into the parking lot. We were actually out there, we were saying great game, shaking some Dodgers fans hands. There were some that were yelling profanities, and just being rowdy. That's how it started. … We were honestly just trying to get out of there with our heads down and our tails between our legs because it turned from intimidating to hostile and we were uncomfortable and wanted out of there. …
"Bryan and I were walking, side-by-side, and talking, not even about the game, about work, I think. Somebody pushed Bryan. This guy came out from behind the car and pushed Bryan into me. I grabbed Bryan and rolled away. We kept walking. Then, at that point my older brother Matt intercepted a punch on the cheek that was meant for Bryan, by the same guy that had pushed Bryan. … We all kept walking. We didn't say anything. We just knew we needed to get out of there. We needed to avoid this confrontation. About five minutes later, they came up from behind us, and they caught us when we were all a little bit spread out. I never saw it coming. My other friend Jeff got hit in the mouth and Bryan got hit from behind. He got hit in the side of the head and never saw it coming."...

and sadly, the medical prognosis is not good at the moment.
excerpt:

..."Relatives of the Giants fan launched a website -- http://www.support4bryanstow.com/
-- in part to provide daily updates on his condition. Stow's sister, Bonnie Stow, told CNN that one priority of the neurosurgeons is keeping him sedated to prevent seizures and swelling in the brain.
In a recent Web posting, she wrote: "The doctors want to limit visitors, noise and physical contact with Bryan. They're wanting to keep his brain calm and just ... quiet ... to see how that works. ... That way the neurologists can get a better reading of brain activity. Fever down."
Bonnie Stow said her brother's seizures have subsided, and over the next 24 to 48 hours doctors want to gradually reduce the sedation he is under and, hopefully, bring him out of the medically induced coma.
"We can't wait for Bryan to wake up so he can see for himself just how much people love him, whether they are family, friends or strangers."
Since the unprovoked attack after the March 31 game at Dodger Stadium, money has poured in from numerous donors and fundraising events to help pay for medical costs and provide support for his two young children. Bonnie Stow said the website also identifies fundraising activity endorsed by Stow's family..."

Along with all the pain and feelings of confusion and personal anguish, this event will provoke some  discussion of the strange new culture of senseless and selfish violence.
Violence to make an inferior feeling of smallness go away for a minute.

Simple Wisdom of Our Elders: The Troop Greeters in Bangor, Maine (The Way We Get By)

After watching
 this  grace-filled documentary,
i was very quiet and my heart was expanded.
I felt real affection and concern for those I'd "met" through the film.
I wanted to get to Maine, quickly, before a death left me unable to say, "thank you for allowing your life moments to be filmed." Thank you for so many things.
Each life: A simple enough life, with all the layered complexities a simple life has. We recognize ourselves or our own in these folks.
Here: http://www.pbs.org/pov/waywegetby/
is the film.   pictures and slideshow HERE.
" Synopsis  On call 24 hours a day for the past five years, a group of senior citizens has made history by greeting over 900,000 American troops at a tiny airport in Bangor, Maine. The Emmy-nominated film, The Way We Get By, is an intimate look at three of these greeters as they confront the universal losses that come with aging and rediscover their reason for living. Bill Knight, Jerry Mundy and Joan Gaudet find the strength to overcome their personal battles and transform their lives through service. This inspirational and surprising story shatters the stereotypes of today's senior citizens as the greeters redefine the meaning of community. A co-production of Dungby Productions and ITVS in association with WGBH and Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN) with funding provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB)."

I do not yet (know or) have words for the impact of this film on me--though it was validating to read the comments on the webpage from the many who opened up with their own moments. And there are many different ways this film must have touched people- some for this reason, some for that. For all its layers, the deep and common sense wisdom that comes with life and living was what caught me. I'd heard, Kahil Gibran: "The more deeply that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain..." which to me sounds like the wisdom of the so called Elderly.

I wanted to mention a two-part experience I had.
I was in a major city on the East Coast, after college graduation.
I was young
and anyone older than 40 or 50 held much less interest for me than a younger person--
although i did not know that at the time.
Looking back, i think i assumed about myself that i found each individual a wonderful and interesting possibility. but it was not true.

1.  I was driving through town
and passed by a man who was walking on the sidewalk.
He was somewhere between 48 and 68, i guess; just a tiny bit hunched over, his grumpy jacket and old shoes both so neutrally discolored that he was almost invisible. It was early afternoon and it seemed his day was over. He had a small brown bag in his hand and without looking up or right or left, allowed his body to propel itself to his home (i presumed) where he would sit in a chair and consume whatever was in the bag; probably watching television.
No one was waiting for him. No one was wondering how his day had been. There was no mail, no beeping message machine. He was left here on the planet and was living out his days.
As for me-No matter how far away from home I was, how long since i had contacted my family or friends, i knew they were there. There would never be a day that i would be alone. I always was unconciously Rich with those who cared about me.
I did not, and could not know what his experience of living was.
I pondered him for some days.

2. As i walked down a major street, a man approached from the opposite direction. He was not young, like me, and not dressed in colors, or scented, like I was. As he came closer, it was clear he was at least a generation ahead of me.
And i almost ignored him.
SUddenNly, my body got a little jolt.
His eyes! He looked like my father!
My father, who was a crack-up funny guy, terribly smart, wiser than anyone, kind and compassionate.
My Dad! who was the best guy, the best teacher, the best company commander, the guy whose games drew all the kids from the neighborhood to our yard in the evenings, to play red-light/green-light or Mother May I?
What if, somewhere, some full-of-life young woman (semi-conscious girl) walked by My Father and Ignored him!?
What a loss for her!
But what a disrespect for him. He would forgive her, lost in her thoughts or deliberately not paying attention. He would know; he surely had been there once, too. But if i was there, i would have said to her,
"Of all the people you pass, you really want to say HI to this guy. It would hurt my feelings to have him disrespected, unappreciated, ignored.

The Math:
Somehow,
number 1 and number 2 got together and i began to find everyone i pass a wonderful and interesting possibility.

Ben Roethlisberger Gets to Play for the NFL Superbowl Trip; Here is the second Rape Victim's Actual Report to the Milledgeville Police; the 2008 first Case

more at end

ETRADE baby HERE

A man approaches you in a bar
with his penis out on display--Your friends report
that the guy's bodyguards will not let let them get to you
while you are being raped in a bathroom--So
after, you go to the first Police car you see
 to report a rape---
 But, the guy
-ben Roethlisberger
-is playing
in the championship game today,
quarterbacking for the Steelers who I always liked
 for Coach Bill Cowher's
gorgeous
seriousminded
Popeye face and the long haired Troy Polamalu, making the game exciting, getting Good Air--
Sadly
finding that i am rooting against the steelers
Hard
Considering that Ben Roethlisberger
would appear to any reasonably-minded person
to be a bullying ungallant brute of a man,
who would do things to
 a girl like your daughter
your sister
that will leave you wondering if you really are suppose to go hurt him, somehow...
is ben roethlisberger a rapist?
The court documents from the SECOND case of sexual assault are at the end of the post.
First
though, I want men to tell me
--if we put the Rape charge aside for a moment--

are we all ok, are you men all ok with this behavior
is Ben Roethlisberger the new OK?
Tell Me please!?

((So you always HEAR

that it is the Team; if the
Team grows and stays together and bonds and self-sacrifices,
Ben Roethlisberger twice
 denies rape charges
Self Sacrifices
victory comes. The big Payoff
You’ve heard it a million times but is it real
What if that
Is in fact the secret?
When you’ve been there, you might see the truth of it clearly.

Or you might not, if you are a self-centered youngster, a just-- waking- up juvenile, an impaired- vision tadpole who could not see the team effect as, he was preoccupied with looking at himself in the mirror. Or she couldn’t stop looking at the stat book.
And likewise,
What if the way to succeed in life is not to focus on you and your needs and your lusts and your desires and your cravings and your hurts and your grudges and your image
and your Image
but Life Success came as a side effect of Beautiful, humble, gracious, generous, clean, open, truthful power and leadership?
Quiet leadership, active leadership, silent leadership, there are all kinds for all kinds…

And likewise,
What if the best most undeniably perfect way to find and mate with, partner with, learn to love and become a grown up in the world with; complete-- the best woman in the world or the best man for a lifetime

Was
In fact
to be honorable and chaste and powerful and meaningful?
To be a Pure Force on the space in your world. To affect every one around you Up up Up

Not be a cool playah, walkin bad, embarrassing our father if he saw you act withat kind of pridefulness…
Embarrassing your Mother who only lowers her head and wishes you strength and manliness…
I speak as your sister or auntie-
Lusty little randy little billygoat stupid swingin your swagger Shakin yer baking Image management
What a loser…what a Loss to us
And
likewise the way to get rich is not to try to get rich but to do things Right-
What if those really are the secrets and all the “clichés” you’ve heard too many times to take it seriously—

Is the Truth obtained at Great Cost?
(What kind of man do you want to be? When you are 29 or 39 or 50, what are you really?
If you died tomorrow, what do folks say about you?
 Who hurt less in life
   In the hard places

Because of you?
You are ON your trajectory right now.
Your family, your upbringing, your genes, your jeans all went into your trajectory-
But YOU have a say in it now. You can affect your trajectory with your own personal power of
your will and spirit and heart.))
]}

So-
What does our culture need?
How is Ben Roethlisberger a symptom and or consequense of our culture?

Rape charges HERE
All I’m sayin is, All i'm asking about:
What kind of guy; Is Roethlisberger (earlier post here)  actually the Kind of Man who goes into a bar and while a big body guards the door after he pulls or lures or pushed a young girl- he just met that night- into the bathroom and has sex with her?
what kind of guy, dad?
and then,—denies I think for the second time in the past few years that a Rape charge was truthfully leveled aginst him. He is saying,
no, i had legal consent. i acted honorably and legally.

Some women and men recognize this type of person.

It is hard to report a rape.

See Here

Or Here Or Here Or  Here….

Tell me, men, what is the line?
Where are the masses of american men headed in terms of
what is ok for men to do?
Tell me about honor?
The press media coverage?
BTW,Who gets away with this,
who does not?
CAN THE MEDIA make us forget one man's sins and stone another in a whipped up frenzy of anger?

please tell me

"Just because she gave birth to you, doesn't mean she likes you". Wendy Murphy

Here is a wretched/teaching/ends well story from Wendy Murphy about The Issue.

NO MORE SECRETS
By Wendy J. Murphy

When I first met Julie we were four years-old. I moved into a gray house three doors down from where she lived in a little white colonial with green shutters. We were inseparable - except when the other same-aged girl on our street took one of us away from the other - or I took one of them away, etc. Even back then, three little girls rarely played well together.
Over the next decade, we spilled gallons of tears when it was our turn to be excluded. We lived on a street where the average family had four or five kids. It was crushing to be the one with no friends in a neighborhood filled with so many potential playmates.
When we got to junior high, all that seemed silly after Julie stopped coming to school. At first she said it was because she was sick - and they didn't know what was wrong.
Then one day, she called to tell me she was in a "locked ward" at a local hospital.

"What's a locked ward"?, I asked.
She said it was a section of the hospital where you can't get out - and if you try to escape - they chase you.
I assumed it was because her sickness was contagious, like some kind of plague.
I went to visit Julie the next day. Her eyes were sunken and her skin was gray. Her clothes hung loose on her shockingly thin body and her roommate looked like a zombie. Being a politically incorrect 14 year-old, I asked what was up with the weird roommate. "She's doing the Thorazine shuffle", Julie said with a tired half-grin, "because she tried to kill herself".
"I tried to kill myself, too" - she added.
"Why the hell would you do that"?, I asked, incredulous and a bit angry.
"I told my therapist I remembered something terrible. He asked me to tell him more but I couldn’t. I said I would die if I remembered more - but then I did. It was awful".
I stared, confused. "What are you talking about?"
"My grandfather - the bed - my body - the pain."
My mouth dropped.
"When I was seven, I told my mother", Julie continued. “I was crying so hard I couldn’t breathe and she just stared at me. Then she smacked me and told me never to say it again. After that, she kept sending me to stay with him so he could do it again and again."
Julie put her head down and I could see tears falling to the floor past her jet black hair.

I couldn't speak.
Julie’s mom was the kind who baked a cake every day and put it on one of those glass pedestals you see in fancy bakeries. And she packed the best lunches. I'd have a meatball sandwich - and cheap crackers from the bulk food aisle and Julie would have fancy cold cuts - two Pop Tarts - and so many extras her lunch bag was often overflowing. I wanted that perfect life. Hell, I just wanted a Pop Tart once in a while.
Who knew it was all cover for unspeakable brutality?
It's not that we hadn't heard about perverts growing up. A guy at the corner store once pulled his pants down in front of Julie. And a teenager in my neighborhood touched me inappropriately - then offered me a nickel not to tell. Of course, I took the nickel and told right away. His dad was a cop so he didn't get in much trouble. It was weird but never a secret, and my parents did all the right things to show they valued my well-being.
Julie's mother clearly didn't feel the same way. This was almost harder to hear than the abuse itself. Kids depend on relationships of trust to help them grow into loving and healthy adults - so they can then develop loving relationships of their own. When trust is betrayed, it creates a virus in the emotional wiring of a child’s brain. As Professor Jennifer Freyd, PhD, author of “Betrayal Trauma”, notes, "When abuse occurs in the family it involves high amounts of betrayal and psychological damage because it’s the family’s job to protect the child. If the abuse is then denied, the betrayal is potently toxic and the child will often suffer serious consequences throughout the lifespan.”

Julie suffered alright. She stayed in the locked ward for a long time - and she never came back to school. When she got out, things were better. She got married at 16 and had three kids. Her wonderful children know everything - including the part about their grandmother. Openness about the topic has helped all of them deal with Julie's ongoing severe PTSD and other medical problems related to the abuse.
Julie even found a way to understand her mother's cruelty. Turns out the grandfather had abused her, too, but because nobody talked about it, she never resolved her own issues. If she had, she’d have known how profoundly helpful it would have been to just hug her sobbing child – and reveal her own suffering. When mothers share their pain, it empowers children to understand things that most kids are too young to process on their own. This simple act of helping a child understand trauma, is the best protection against long-term psychological damage.
Julie doesn’t exactly forgive her mother and she feels bad about that. So when we have time to talk, I tell her forgiveness is overrated, which always brings us back to what one doctor said the day Julie landed in the locked ward:
"Just because she gave birth to you, doesn't mean she likes you".
The first time she heard it - she cried.
These days - it makes both of us laugh.

Excerpts:

...
...

One day, I was at work, scrolling through the news on my phone, and came across an article. In it, I read and learned for the first time about how I was found unconscious, with my hair disheveled, long necklace wrapped around my neck, bra pulled out of my dress, dress pulled off over my shoulders and pulled up above my waist, that I was butt naked all the way down to my boots, legs spread apart, and had been penetrated by a foreign object by someone I did not recognize. This was how I learned what happened to me, sitting at my desk reading the news at work. I learned what happened to me the same time everyone else in the world learned what happened to me. That’s when the pine needles in my hair made sense, they didn’t fall from a tree. He had taken off my underwear, his fingers had been inside of me. I don’t even know this person. I still don’t know this person. When I read about me like this, I said, this can’t be me.
This can’t be me. I could not digest or accept any of this information. I could not imagine my family having to read about this online. I kept reading. In the next paragraph, I read something that I will never forgive; I read that according to him, I liked it. I liked it. Again, I do not have words for these feelings.
At the bottom of the article, after I learned about the graphic details of my own sexual assault, the article listed his swimming times. She was found breathing, unresponsive with her underwear six inches away from her bare stomach curled in fetal position. By the way, he’s really good at swimming. Throw in my mile time if that’s what we’re doing. I’m good at cooking, put that in there, I think the end is where you list your extra-curriculars to cancel out all the sickening things that’ve happened.
The night the news came out I sat my parents down and told them that I had been assaulted, to not look at the news because it’s upsetting, just know that I’m okay, I’m right here, and I’m okay. But halfway through telling them, my mom had to hold me because I could no longer stand up. I was not okay...
...

The night after it happened, he said he didn’t know my name, said he wouldn’t be able to identify my face in a lineup, didn’t mention any dialogue between us, no words, only dancing and kissing. Dancing is a cute term; was it snapping fingers and twirling dancing, or just bodies grinding up against each other in a crowded room? I wonder if kissing was just faces sloppily pressed up against each other? When the detective asked if he had planned on taking me back to his dorm, he said no. When the detective asked how we ended up behind the dumpster, he said he didn’t know. He admitted to kissing other girls at that party, one of whom was my own sister who pushed him away. He admitted to wanting to hook up with someone. I was the wounded antelope of the herd, completely alone and vulnerable, physically unable to fend for myself, and he chose me. Sometimes I think, if I hadn’t gone, then this never would’ve happened. But then I realized, it would have happened, just to somebody else. You were about to enter four years of access to drunk girls and parties, and if this is the foot you started off on, then it is right you did not continue.
The night after it happened, he said he thought I liked it because I rubbed his back. A back rub. Never mentioned me voicing consent, never mentioned us speaking, a back rub.
One more time, in public news, I learned that my ass and vagina were completely exposed outside, my breasts had been groped, fingers had been jabbed inside me along with pine needles and debris, my bare skin and head had been rubbing against the ground behind a dumpster, while an erect freshman was humping my half naked, unconscious body. But I don’t remember, so how do I prove I didn’t like it.
I thought there’s no way this is going to trial; there were witnesses, there was dirt in my body, he ran but was caught. He’s going to settle, formally apologize, and we will both move on. Instead, I was told he hired a powerful attorney, expert witnesses, private investigators who were going to try and find details about my personal life to use against me, find loopholes in my story to invalidate me and my sister, in order to show that this sexual assault was in fact a misunderstanding. That he was going to go to any length to convince the world he had simply been confused.
I was not only told that I was assaulted, I was told that because I couldn’t remember, I technically could not prove it was unwanted. And that distorted me, damaged me, almost broke me. It is the saddest type of confusion to be told I was assaulted and nearly raped, blatantly out in the open, but we don’t know if it counts as assault yet. I had to fight for an entire year to make it clear that there was something wrong with this situation.
When I was told to be prepared in case we didn’t win, I said, I can’t prepare for that. He was guilty the minute I woke up. No one can talk me out of the hurt he caused me. Worst of all, I was warned, because he now knows you don’t remember, he is going to get to write the script. He can say whatever he wants and no one can contest it. I had no power, I had no voice, I was defenseless. My memory loss would be used against me. My testimony was weak, was incomplete, and I was made to believe that perhaps, I am not enough to win this. That’s so damaging. His attorney constantly reminded the jury, the only one we can believe is Brock, because she doesn’t remember. That helplessness was traumatizing.
Instead of taking time to heal, I was taking time to recall the night in excruciating detail, in order to prepare for the attorney’s questions that would be invasive, aggressive, and designed to steer me off course, to contradict myself, my sister, phrased in ways to manipulate my answers. Instead of his attorney saying, Did you notice any abrasions? He said, You didn’t notice any abrasions, right? This was a game of strategy, as if I could be tricked out of my own worth. The sexual assault had been so clear, but instead, here I was at the trial, answering question like:

...

...

I was pummeled with narrowed, pointed questions that dissected my personal life, love life, past life, family life, inane questions, accumulating trivial details to try and find an excuse for this guy who didn’t even take the time to ask me for my name, who had me naked a handful of minutes after seeing me. After a physical assault, I was assaulted with questions designed to attack me, to say see, her facts don’t line up, she’s out of her mind, she’s practically an alcoholic, she probably wanted to hook up, he’s like an athlete right, they were both drunk, whatever, the hospital stuff she remembers is after the fact, why take it into account, Brock has a lot at stake so he’s having a really hard time right now.
And then it came time for him to testify. This is where I became revictimized. I want to remind you, the night after it happened he said he never planned to take me back to his dorm. He said he didn’t know why we were behind a dumpster. He got up to leave because he wasn’t feeling well when he was suddenly chased and attacked. Then he learned I could not remember.
So one year later, as predicted, a new dialogue emerged. Brock had a strange new story, almost sounded like a poorly written young adult novel with kissing and dancing and hand holding and lovingly tumbling onto the ground, and most importantly in this new story, there was suddenly consent. One year after the incident, he remembered, oh yeah, by the way she actually said yes, to everything, so....
...

To sit under oath and inform all of us, that yes I wanted it, yes I permitted it, and that you are the true victim attacked by guys for reasons unknown to you is sick, is demented, is selfish, is stupid. It shows that you were willing to go to any length, to discredit me, invalidate me, and explain why it was okay to hurt me. You tried unyieldingly to save yourself, your reputation, at my expense.
My family had to see pictures of my head strapped to a gurney full of pine needles, of my body in the dirt with my eyes closed, dress hiked up, limbs limp in the dark. And then even after that, my family had to listen to your attorney say, the pictures were after the fact, we can dismiss them. To say, yes her nurse confirmed there was redness and abrasions inside her, but that’s what happens when you finger someone, and he’s already admitted to that. To listen to him use my own sister against me. To listen him attempt to paint of a picture of me, the seductive party animal, as if somehow that would make it so that I had this coming for me...

aid, I stupidly thought it was okay for me to do what everyone around me was doing, which was drinking. I was wrong.
Again, you were not wrong for drinking. Everyone around you was not sexually assaulting me. You were wrong for doing what nobody else was doing, which was pushing your erect dick in your pants against my naked, defenseless body concealed in a dark area, where partygoers could no longer see or protect me, and own my sister could not find me. Sipping fireball is not your crime. Peeling off and discarding my underwear like a candy wrapper to insert your finger into my body, is where you went wrong. Why am I still explaining this.
You said, During the trial I didn’t want to victimize her at all. That was just my attorney and his way of approaching the case.
Your attorney is not your scapegoat, he represents you. Did your attorney say some incredulously infuriating, degrading things? Absolutely. He said you had an erection, because it was cold. I have no words.
You said, you are in the process of establishing a program for high school and college students in which you speak about your experience to “speak out against the college campus drinking culture and the sexual promiscuity that goes along with that.”
Speak out against campus drinking culture. That’s what we’re speaking out against? You think that’s what I’ve spent the past year fighting for? Not awareness about campus sexual assault, or rape, or learning to recognize consent. Campus drinking culture. Down with Jack Daniels. Down with Skyy Vodka. If you want talk to high school kids about drinking go to an AA meeting. You realize, having a drinking problem is different than drinking and then forcefully trying to have sex with someone? Show men how to respect women, not how to drink less.

...

For a while, I believed that that was all I was. I had to force myself to relearn my real name, my identity. To relearn that this is not all that I am. That I am not just a drunk victim at a frat party found behind a dumpster, while you are the All-American swimmer at a top university, innocent until proven guilty, with so much at stake. I am a human being who has been irreversibly hurt, who waited a year to figure out if I was worth something.
My independence, natural joy, gentleness, and steady lifestyle I had been enjoying became distorted beyond recognition. I became closed off, angry, self-deprecating, tired, irritable, empty. The isolation at times was unbearable. You cannot give me back the life I had before that night either. While you worry about your shattered reputation, I refrigerated spoons every night so when I woke up, and my eyes were puffy from crying, I would hold the spoons to my eyes to lessen the swelling so that I could see. I showed up an hour late to work every morning, excused myself to cry in the stairwells, I can tell you all the best places in that building to cry where no one can hear you, the pain became so bad that I had to tell my boss I was leaving, I needed time because continuing day to day was not possible. I used my savings to go as far away as I could possibly be.
I can’t sleep alone at night without having a light on, like a five year old, because I have nightmares of being touched where I cannot wake up, I did this thing where I waited until the sun came up and I felt safe enough to sleep. For three months, I went to bed at six o’clock in the morning.
I used to pride myself on my independence, now I am afraid to go on walks in the evening, to attend social events with drinking among friends where I should be comfortable being. I have become a little barnacle always needing to be at someone’s side, to have my boyfriend standing next to me, sleeping beside me, protecting me. It is embarrassing how feeble I feel, how timidly I move through life, always guarded, ready to defend myself, ready to be angry.
...

To conclude, I want to say thank you. To everyone from the intern who made me oatmeal when I woke up at the hospital that morning, to the deputy who waited beside me, to the nurses who calmed me, to the detective who listened to me and never judged me, to my advocates who stood unwaveringly beside me, to my therapist who taught me to find courage in vulnerability, to my boss for being kind and understanding, to my incredible parents who teach me how to turn pain into strength, to my friends who remind me how to be happy, to my boyfriend who is patient and loving, to my unconquerable sister who is the other half of my heart, to Alaleh, my idol, who fought tirelessly and never doubted me. Thank you to everyone involved in the trial for their time and attention. Thank you to girls across the nation that wrote cards to my DA to give to me, so many strangers who cared for me.
Most importantly, thank you to the two men who saved me, who I have yet to meet. I sleep with two bicycles that I drew taped above my bed to remind myself there are heroes in this story. That we are looking out for one another. To have known all of these people, to have felt their protection and love, is something I will never forget.
And finally, to girls everywhere, I am with you. On nights when you feel alone, I am with you. When people doubt you or dismiss you, I am with you. I fought everyday for you. So never stop fighting, I believe you. Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining. Although I can’t save every boat, I hope that by speaking today, you absorbed a small amount of light, a small knowing that you can’t be silenced, a small satisfaction that justice was served, a small assurance that we are getting somewhere, and a big, big knowing that you are important, unquestionably, you are untouchable, you are beautiful, you are to be valued, respected, undeniably, every minute of every day, you are powerful and nobody can take that away from you. To girls everywhere, I am with you. Thank you.

Sadness.
