There are a few really good restaurants in Manhattan, Ks, home of Kansas State University. We all love CocoBolos. Go There!
we all love Harrys ($$$)
and Della Voce ($$$)
and we love sports at Paddy O'Quigleys.
However-- there is a new kid in town, and boy o boy it is good enough to make a Preacher Cuss....
The Fire and Ice Grill (Wahoo's) serves up a medley of cuisine that will make your mouth water and a lot of it is perfect health food too.
The crab meat stuffed salmon with capers over real serious rice and sauteed zucchini and yellow squash (and more)
with a glass of amazing sauvignon blanc will bring you back again and again... There is a perfect patio, great music, wonderful staff, excellent atmosphere... did i mention i love the place?
Today i had the peppersteak sandwich and it is the best i've had. Evah?
The bread was baked in heaven
and the tender strips of meat were perfectly cooked, no gristle WHATSOEVER. Horseradish sauce, perfect slice of red organic locally grown beefsteak tomato -- special sauces and carmelized onions....
I have more to say but for now, GO THERE!
