Rape, Sexual Assault, Violent Crime Resources at K-State in Manhattan

The Manhattan Mercury released its annual K-State Edition of the paper this Sunday. Although rape was mentioned once or twice, no information was given regarding local resources, incident and statistic info, or examples of recent criminal activity.

That is partly what this blog is about: to educate any and everyone who wants information. You can search this blog for student stories, acquaintance rape, information about the serial rapist, general information about rape, etc.

You can also go to the K-State Women's Center Main Webpage for complete information. For example, from our webpage you can download the Department of Justice Report on the Sexual Victimization of College Women, info you can really USE about protecting yourself from crime, details about rapists, and much more here.

To see the various resources for K-State students, Male and Female, check out the links on the Main page HERE and HERE and HERE.

You can always stop by or call the K-State Women's Center. As the Advocate, I will help anyone in whatever they need, and help find the resources neccessary. Our office is on the second floor of Holton hall, just south of the library, and our phone number is 785.532.6444, My student staff are trained to assist.

HERE is a video of Aggieville one night...what 4 young women encountered after a k-state event and dinner.
